Summer at the Burch School of Music

for All Ages!

All ages are invited to make music at The Burch School this summer!

Our programs are sizzling!

Registration and Tuition for Summer is due on or before May 15, 2009

We have four categories of camps:

I. Camps for Newborns - 7 year olds

The Burch School offers many different camps for the various ages of pre-schoolers, and each camp is structured with age-appropriate activities.

To register for the Kindermusik and Rain Forest Camps, please return the Kindermusik  registration form and the data sheet. For additional information about the Kindermusik Summer Camps, please see the Kindermusik Course Descriptions and the Kindermusik Tuition Page.

II. Beginning and Advanced Piano for 1st-12th graders

At the Burch School of Music, beginning piano is taught in a state-of the art digital piano lab to small groups of four-six students.  Covering the basics in a group setting is beneficial for secure rhythmic and note reading, and the social setting is loads of fun.  After a student has progressed through two years of group piano, he or she graduates to private lessons for one-on-one instruction. Our "Ready, Set, Go!" program is designed for the beginner, and we offer two sessions.  Students may take one or both sessions to cover the basics before starting the fall semester.

To register school-age students, please return the completed Youth registration form and data sheet with
check made payable to Burch School of Music.

III. Beginning and Advanced Piano for Adults

What better way to begin piano than in a group setting with adults of like interests.  Our class "8 for 88" is geared for the adult who has never had piano, or who took lessons as a child and hasn't returned for years.  The pleasure of learning an instrument is a joyful experience, and the friendships which are forged through this kind of music-making can last a lifetime.

To register adult students, please return the completed Adult Registration form and Adult Data Sheet

IV. Special Camps for 1st-12th graders

The Burch School offers Great Masters Camps covering the lives of composers and other aspects of classical music.  Each camp explores the life of a master composer, including the culture and history of the era.  These camps include suitable arts, crafts, and snacks each day.

We also teach composition to the aspiring young composer.
