Hurry Children! Let's go to the city!
Let's drive on the high highways to the city.
Should we go by streetcar?
This streetcar is on display.
The painter is making the display sparkle with a new coat of paint.
The city is full of interesting sites...
...And VERY tall buildings.
If we go to the city by car, we have to pay the parking meter...
Or we can use a parking garage...
Or we can take a limosine.
Some buildings are very beautiful!
The angels seem to be blowing their trumpets to say:
"Hurray! You have come to the city!"
The city streets are lined with flowers.
There is lovely art work everywhere.
Here is a mural telling of the African American history of the city.
The mural has five panels with 3-D tiles.
The city also has many fountains. The waiter at my favorite restaurant is posing with me.
Time for lunch in an outdoor restaurant.
Let's get tickets to the theater.
Time for a quick call on my cell phone.
In the city, many streets are one-way streets. The cars go in one direction only.
Some fountaines are very large.
In the stores we like to ride the escalators and elevators. Going up...........
It needs to have its nose tweaked...
And its moustache pulled!
Some statues are regular sizes - lifelike in size and in poses.
Some statues are made of plants!
Here is a long-horned steer made of plants - it is called a topiary.
This statue has a birdfeeder on its head!
I have had a great day in the city!
I hope you can join me next time! So long...
